For middle and high school students

Join us for an afternoon puppet theatre workshop in which participants will design, build, and bring to life their own puppets. In the first part of the workshop, the group will choose a story and each participant will pick a character. Then, we’ll create our puppets, from initial design sketches to the final stages of construction. The second part of the workshop will be devoted to putting on a small show with the puppets we’ve created. Puppet-making materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged also to bring their own, to add to the creative possibilities.
