The folks at Recorded Books have informed us of the following disruption to our OneClick Digital downloadable audiobooks service.

“During the weekend of August 24–25, in order to implement a number of improvements, the OneClickdigital website will be down for an extended period. This downtime will begin at 6:00 AM EDT on Saturday, August 24, and run through 8:00 AM EDT on Monday, August 26. We will do our best to make this downtime shorter than planned, and apologize for the disruption, which is necessary in order to continue to improve our service. After the upgrade to the new platform is complete, your patrons will continue to have access to all the audio content your library offers through OneClickdigital, and all checkouts and holds will be kept in place.”

If you haven’t discovered OneClick, it’s a terrific service that provides thousands audiobooks that can be downloaded directly to your iPhone, iPod, or other portable devices, as well as your desktop computer.  Our library now includes titles for children, young adults, and adults.
