In this highly interactive training, participants learn simple and effective mind/body techniques proven to calm the nervous system. We will explore why and how the practices of deep breathing, mindfulness, and guided imagery affect the brain and body. Participants will build their own unique toolkit that will help themselves and their children/students calm, enhance focus, and regulate behavior.
About Julie Campilio
Julie Campilio founded Radiant Beginnings Yoga in 2010 and RB’s sister brand, Roots Up in 2019. She is a youth yoga and mindfulness educator, consultant, children’s book author, curriculum developer, and partner in research studies on emotional wellness. She has been bringing yoga and mindfulness to diverse populations for the past 11 years. Her drive to share the benefits of yoga and mindfulness stems from her healing journey with chronic anxiety, specifically panic attacks. She is deeply committed to helping people develop lifelong tools for stress and anxiety and to increase resilience. She thrives in nature, loves healing arts, hiking, biking, and surfing.
